JARS by Fabio Viviani, the hot, new trend-setting brand taking over the fast-casual dessert market, is helping franchisees enjoy the sweet taste of success. We sat down with Tejal Wibel, who along with husband Jason are franchisees in Texas, to talk about what it’s like being a part of the JARS family.

Why did you franchise with JARS by Fabio Viviani?

We had been considering going into the franchise business for the last three or so years. We found out about JARS, and me being a foodie, it really caught my attention. I was aware of Fabio’s success, and when we met him, his passion and confidence in JARS shone through and got us excited!  Also, my husband recognized Fabio’s entrepreneurial skill set, as Jason has also been an entrepreneur for many years. We felt confident in Fabio and in the JARS concept, and here we are!

Why do you like franchising?

We like franchising for a couple of reasons. After moving around every couple of years, we were ready to put down roots to be able to care for our aging parents. Franchising provides for that. It was also important for us to find something that we could feel passionate about and work together on as a couple. JARS fulfills all of these things for us.

What tip(s) do you have for prospective franchisees?

To be honest, we are new to franchising. However, there are a couple of things we’d recommend to prospective franchisees: First and foremost, seek a franchise that speaks to their personal interests and core values, and then do the research and find out who is worth investing in from financial and reputation standpoints.

What’s your favorite item on the menu?
We are southerners who love red velvet! It is delicious!
