PayMore, the leading buy, sell, trade electronics retail franchise is having a breakout year of growth in 2022. Franchisees are attracted by the strong unit economics, low startup costs and a model that thrives in all economic conditions.
Johnny and Michelle Castellon had dreamed of being entrepreneurs for years and when they found PayMore, they finally found the fit they had been looking for to make their business ownership dreams a reality. So much so that instead of the initial one-unit they planned to open, they signed a multi-unit deal to be the first to bring PayMore to Florida. The Castellon’s recently sat down with Fransmart to talk about what makes PayMore so attractive for a franchisee.
Q. With all the business opportunities available, why did you choose PayMore?
Johnny: When we learned about PayMore on the Fransmart website this past summer, we became huge fans and knew right away that this was the right business opportunity for us. With PayMore’s low start-up cost, multiple streams of revenue, and recession/pandemic proof franchise opportunity, we’re on our way to becoming successful business owners and we get to help our community reduce e-waste in the process. We know that electronics are going to continue to evolve forever, so it was a no-brainer to become PayMore’s first franchisees in Florida.
Q. What made you decide to go from a one store owner to signing a multi-unit deal?
Johnny: With our current growth plan strategy we decided that three stores was a good number to start with to put us in a good position for future expansion in South Florida. It didn’t take us very long after visiting the PayMore store in Cary, NC and speaking to the existing franchisee, to make the determination that our time to become multi-unit operators is now.
Q. What is your growth plan/strategy?
Johnny: We plan to start with three stores in Palm Beach County and once those three are up and running, expand into other counties in South Florida.
Q. Can you tell me a bit about your background?
Johnny: I’m a Marine Corps veteran. I left Miami, FL in 2003 to step on the yellow footprints in Parris Island, SC and was honorably discharged in 2007. By 2005, I knew that I wanted to become a business owner. However, I’ve been patiently waiting for the right business opportunity to present itself, in hopes that when it did, I would get in at an early stage. It’s been great working for the government in various roles for the past 19 years, but I’m ready to move on to business ownership and grow with PayMore.
Michelle: I am a Registered Nurse specializing in emergency medicine. I have worked in the healthcare industry for over 20 years and have had the pleasure of delivering care to our community. My husband and I have shared the dream of being entrepreneurs for years so we are extremely excited to begin our business adventure and look forward to doing big things with PayMore in South Florida.
