nomoo founder, George Montagu-Brown, is a plant-based food advocate and entrepreneur from the UK who has built more than eight successful businesses from the ground up. More mad scientist than traditional ‘chef’, George set out to revolutionize America’s favorite food (burgers) after an unsuccessful quest to find a plant-based burger joint featuring fast food favorites like better burgers, wings and shakes without sacrificing quality or flavor.
Enter nomoo – a hip, colorful diner where plant and meat lovers come together to indulge in guiltless comfort food everyone can feel good about.
Leaving his home, surf hotel and organic restaurant back in Costa Rica, George now resides in Los Angeles to be closer to nomoo’s Melrose flagship, where he continues to dream up, innovate and indulge on nomoo’s plant-based creations like fried oyster mushroom “wings,” The BBQ “Facon” and “The Hot Chick’n.”
