Butter Chicken Company is the fastest-growing QSR Indian chain in North America, Butter Chicken Co saw a hole in the Indian market for QSR Indian food. They took the complexity of Indian dishes and simplified it and made it easy to replicate.

Butter Chicken Company Founder and CEO, Asad Sheikh an Indian immigrant born and raised in Bombay spent his many years as a franchisee and used that expertise to create an Indian QSR chain that is simple and approachable. The average American Indian restaurant menu reads like a novel. However, despite the many options, American diners tend to order the same handful of dishes Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka Masala. Asad Sheikh perfected his recipes by learning from chefs in Delhi where Butter Chicken was originated.

Asad Sheikh has found a way to ensure consistency by producing an off-site corporate kitchen. Onsite the appropriate spices and herbs are added, and the food is sous vide and then scooped onto customer plates from stunning copper bowls made in India specifically for Butter Chicken Company.

Not only has this approach helped achieve brand-wide consistency of quality and taste, but it also eliminates the need for each restaurant to have a chef, as well as it eliminates the need for expensive store buildout with hoods, vents and kitchen equipment. Giving franchisees even more opportunities to be profitable.
