NYC has been hit particularly hard by the pandemic. We’ve felt it through our customers who are some of America’s great restaurant brands, and first-hand having offices in NYC and many of our employees calling NYC home. We’ve developed bonds with our communities amidst the NYC crowds, noise and non-stop action. But now, these communities have become eerie ghost towns. Restaurants closed. Bars shuttered. Dog parks empty.
However, there is light at the end of the tunnel. The city and the nation appear to be turning the corner towards a long, hard recovery. Communities will come alive again, but the fight is not over. And we owe it to one group of people making it possible; the brave men and women on the front lines working in our hospitals and risking their health to save lives and fight off this invisible enemy.
We’re compelled to help in any way we can.
That’s why Hyperlocology and Greek Xpress have teamed up to support and show our immense appreciation for the front line heroes. We’re excited and incredibly proud to have served an amazing, traditional Greek platter to 100 health care heroes at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx.
Jimmy Soursos, founder of Greek Xpress, says “We have been touched and motivated by the generous and wonderful actions by many and Greek Xpress staff feels honored to serve some of our favorite homestyle and healthy meals to our community heroes.”
“The Hyperlocology team is proud to be able to contribute to our community recovery effort, and most importantly to the first responders and healthcare heroes” says Michael Morris, co-founder of Hyperlocology. “doing it with Greek Xpress, a great restaurant brand right here in NYC, has made it even more special.”
