Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to have a medical background to own and operate a GLO30?

No.  You don’t have to be a doctor to own a GLO30 franchise, most of our franchisees have no medical background.

Some states have Corporate Practice of Medicine (CPOM) laws that limit how medical services can be owned and operated*. These laws often require that the clinical side of a medical spa be owned by a licensed physician or physician-owned entity so non-medical franchisees of these businesses use a Management Services Organization (MSO) model. This widely accepted business structure allows non-physician owners to legally operate while partnering with a licensed medical professional who oversees medical services.  We’re here to support you in this process and there are many MSOs, so If you need help setting up an MSO or finding a medical director, we can connect you with a trusted third-party providers, like WeTreat, who regularly assist our franchisees.

The MSO model is common in the industry and straightforward to set up. We’ll walk you through every step to make sure you work directly with an MSO to make sure you are compliant with local laws.

*The Franchisee is fully responsible for checking local laws to make sure they are allowed to own and run a medical spa in the area where their GLO30 location will operate and any MSO can help with this question.

How is GLO30 different from other skincare brands?

GLO30 stands apart from traditional skincare studios because it blends advanced technology with a genuinely personalized, high-touch experience.

While many skincare studios rely on basic, one-size-fits-all facials that deliver short-term glow at best, GLO30 takes a fundamentally different approach. Every experience is personalized using advanced technology and skin data to create treatments tailored to each individual’s unique needs, concerns, and goals. GLO30 pairs high-tech tools with advanced treatment offerings designed to drive real skin change over time, tracking progress and adjusting protocols to deliver long-term, measurable results. Instead of temporary fixes, clients get a smarter, more strategic skincare journey that evolves with their skin and is built around consistency, innovation, and outcomes you can actually see.

Instead of quick facials in busy, open rooms, every guest is treated in a private suite and guided by GLOria, GLO30’s proprietary AI technology, which analyzes skin data and tracks progress over time to tailor each visit to what your skin actually needs that day. Treatments are results-driven but approachable, memberships are transparent with no surprise add-ons, and the experience is designed to feel calm, elevated, and consistent every single visit.

What training and marketing support is offered?

GLO30 delivers hands on support from day one, guiding franchisees through site selection, studio design, staffing, and operations. Every owner goes through a comprehensive pre-opening program that includes in-studio and virtual training, local marketing rollout, community partnership guidance, paid advertising, and full grand-opening support.

Staff training is built directly into the launch process. GLO30 provides structured onboarding for estheticians and front-of-house teams, treatment protocols, service standards, and hands-on technology training with GLOria, ensuring every guest receives the same elevated, personalized experience across locations. From your first hire through your first members, and well beyond opening day, our team stays closely involved, providing ongoing coaching, performance support, and operational guidance as your studio ramps up and scales.
